Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Administration:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the property and on-site staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date property records, policies, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure community operations align with HUD standards and nonprofit goals.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communication, including emails and resident inquiries.
• Maintain all compliance-related documentation and reporting as required by HUD.

Resident Services & Compliance:

• Serve as primary contact for residents, addressing needs, concerns, and service requests promptly.
• Oversee rent collection processes, track payments, and ensure timely deposit and reporting.
• Manage recertification process for each tenant, starting 120 days before the due date.
• Schedule meetings with residents.
• Collect and review financial documentation.
• Submit required documentation through compliance systems.
• Conduct and document annual and interim tenant certifications as needed.

Maintenance & Vendor Coordination:

• Ensure all work orders are submitted, tracked, and completed in a timely manner.
• Meet with vendors and contractors as needed for property maintenance, upgrades, and inspections.
• Monitor property condition and report maintenance issues proactively.

Compliance & Regulatory Knowledge:

• Maintain a strong working knowledge of HUD policies, forms, and procedures.
• Ensure all operations are in compliance with local, state, and federal housing regulations.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
