**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of IT and Systems to lead our IT department and oversee the development, implementation, and management of our technology infrastructure and information systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of technology and systems management, with a proven track record of aligning IT strategies with business goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- **Strategic Leadership:** Develop and execute the IT strategy in alignment with the company’s objectives, ensuring technology initiatives support business growth and operational excellence.


- **Systems Management:** Oversee the architecture, integration, and management of IT systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

- **Budget Management:** Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources for IT projects, maintenance, and upgrades.

- **Project Oversight:** Lead major technology projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and implementations, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

- **Vendor Management:** Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage performance, and ensure adherence to service level agreements.

- **Cybersecurity:** Implement and manage a robust cybersecurity framework to protect the company’s data and systems from threats and breaches. 

- **Stakeholder Engagement:** Collaborate with executive leadership and other departments to identify technology needs and ensure alignment of systems and processes across the organization.

- **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to IT governance and data management.

- **Performance Metrics:** Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations and systems, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in IT management
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies that drive business success.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with budget management and financial analysis.
- An understanding of Relational Databasing, as well as proficiencies in MySQL, MariaDB, PHP, HTML, CSS, Java Script, Linox(preferred, but not necessary)
