Armored Automotive Technician|Automotive Painter 6-month Contract-to-Hire 100% Onsite - Columbus, OH Hours: Mon-Thu, 4:00 pm - 2:00 am (2nd Shift) Brooksource's Public Sector partner is seeking to hire several junior or entry-level candidates with a hobby or interest in working with vehicles to work as Armored Automotive Technicians for our client's automotive group supporting government operations overseas. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone seeking a long-term career in a mechanical role with little to no previous automotive experience required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES •Disassemble and/or install new mechanical and electrical vehicle components. •Follow standard procedures to assemble products and maintain a safe working environment. QUALIFICATIONS •Prior military service highly preferred, all MOS considered. •High School diploma, clear background check and drug screening (including marijuana ) required. •Experience (paid or unpaid) with automotives, heavy machinery or other equipment that contains a motor. •Automotive Painter candidates need certifications or demonstratable experience and are eligible for a higher pay rate. •Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift in repetitive motions.
