Water Leak Inspector Technician ($18 p/hr)

We are seeking a Water Leak Inspector Technician to identify, diagnose, and report water leaks in multifamily properties. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of plumbing systems, preventing property damage, and reducing water waste. The ideal candidate will have experience in leak detection, plumbing diagnostics, and using specialized equipment to locate hidden leaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect plumbing systems, fixtures, and water supply lines for leaks, damage, or inefficiencies.
• Use specialized tools such as acoustic sensors, infrared cameras, moisture meters, and pressure testing equipment to detect hidden leaks.
• Perform regular water system audits to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to repair identified leaks and prevent recurring issues.
• Document findings and provide detailed reports on leak locations, causes, and recommended solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and environmental regulations.
• Educate residents and property management on water conservation and best practices.
• Respond to emergency leak situations promptly to prevent property damage.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and water usage reports.
• Stay updated on new leak detection technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing or water inspection certification preferred.
• Experience in plumbing, water leak detection, or related field.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, water pressure, and leak detection techniques.
• Familiarity with specialized leak detection tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to detect leaks in hidden areas.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with property management teams.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Schedule & Environment:
