QUALIFICATIONS (Required Experience or Training):

• Valid Professional Educators Teaching License with endorsements in: Mathematics
• Desired experience/training: Previous Homebound Tutoring experience

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teach prescribed academic coursework
• Collaborate with colleagues regarding student assignments
• Travel to students' homes, hospital, or agreed-upon setting
• Coordinate and collaborate with students and parents to schedule sessions
• Maintain accurate records
• Work 2-3 nights in the evenings (occasionally days) approximately 2-3 hours per session
• The ability to coordinate student assignments during time of absence
• The ability to navigate Schoology Learning Management System/Google docs, ebooks, and other online sources
• The ability to communicate with student's teachers about progress and/or assignment completion
• The ability to communicate with home to schedule hours of tutoring
• Progress monitor students work
• Other duties as assigned
• Must have reliable home internet service for remote learning, if necessary
